Offshore teams for healthcare and MedTech — dedicated, full-time

Engineering, clinical operations, and CX from India — for roles outside PHI scope.

Healthcare and MedTech companies face a talent market that is simultaneously specialised and expensive. Engineers must understand HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA; billing specialists must know ICD-10 and payer workflows; and CX agents must communicate with empathy under regulated constraints. India has deep talent in all these dimensions — trained at India's largest hospital groups, health-tech unicorns, and global healthcare IT companies.

Hiring challenges

What makes hiring for Healthcare & MedTech hard.

HIPAA compliance in offshore operations

PHI can be handled offshore when appropriate BAAs, access controls, and data handling protocols are in place — but that requires a compliance programme on the vendor side. We don't operate one yet, so we don't take PHI-scope work. We can staff roles outside PHI scope today.

Clinical operations bandwidth

Prior authorisation, revenue cycle management, and clinical documentation are high-volume, process-driven functions that can be handled offshore without clinical risk when structured correctly.

Engineering talent with healthcare domain knowledge

Healthcare product engineering requires developers who understand FHIR APIs, EHR integration patterns, and regulatory approval workflows — not just generic software engineers.

24/7 patient support coverage

Healthcare platforms often need round-the-clock support coverage that US-based teams cannot sustain at reasonable cost. India's shift-based CX talent provides 24/7 coverage at 60–70% lower cost.

Analytics and data science for clinical data

Healthcare generates vast clinical datasets requiring dedicated analytics capacity — outcomes analysis, utilisation reporting, and population health modelling — that is difficult to staff in US markets.

Talent demand

Key roles and market dynamics.

Healthcare and MedTech companies source from India primarily for engineering (health-tech product teams), clinical operations (RCM, billing, prior auth), and customer experience (patient support). Data science and analytics for clinical data is a growing category.

Engagement models

Work with us the way that fits.

Contract

Short-term or project-based engagement — ideal for surge capacity, pilot programmes, or trial-before-permanent hiring.

Permanent

Dedicated full-time headcount with competitive Indian-market compensation, statutory benefits, and multi-year retention infrastructure.

Dedicated Team

A pod of 3–10 working exclusively for your company under a Remvix-managed team lead — the GCC model without the entity setup.

Managed Service

Remvix operates the team end-to-end: recruiting, payroll, performance management, compliance, and reporting.

Compliance & market considerations

Regulated industry requirements.

Healthcare and MedTech companies must ensure anyone who may access PHI is covered by a Business Associate Agreement, and that HIPAA Security Rule requirements — workforce training, access controls, incident response — are satisfied for every individual on the team.

Where Remvix stands

We hold no security or compliance certifications — no SOC 2, no ISO 27001 — and we won't claim otherwise to win a deal.

  • Every team member signs an NDA with IP assignment. The work and the code are yours.
  • Your team works inside your systems, under your access controls and your policies.
  • You approve every hire — nobody joins your team without your sign-off.

If your regulator or your buyers require certified vendor controls, bring that to the discovery call. We'd rather tell you we're not a fit than over-promise and under-deliver.

How we'd build it

No invented case studies. Here's the actual process.

We're a new company, so we don't publish client logos or outcome metrics we haven't earned. What we do publish is exactly how your team gets built — and what we stand behind.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can Remvix teams handle PHI under HIPAA?+

Not today — and this is one to be blunt about. We don't currently operate a HIPAA compliance program or execute Business Associate Agreements, so we can't take on work requiring PHI access. We can help with roles outside PHI scope. If PHI access is essential, we're not the right partner yet and we'd rather say so now than after you've signed.

Do healthcare engineers understand FHIR and HL7?+

Yes — we specifically screen for FHIR R4, HL7 v2/v3, and EHR integration experience (Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth) for healthcare engineering placements.

Can RCM specialists handle US insurance workflows?+

Yes — RCM analysts are screened for ICD-10, CPT, claims processing, denial management, and US payer workflow familiarity.

Is prior authorisation processing in scope?+

Yes — PA submission, status tracking, peer-to-peer request coordination, and appeals processing are all handled by dedicated India-based specialists.

How are HIPAA training requirements handled?+

Remvix conducts HIPAA workforce training for all team members handling PHI and maintains training records available for client audit.

Can patient support agents handle sensitive medical conversations?+

Yes — agents are trained on empathetic communication, escalation protocols, and regulatory constraints. Clinical decision-making is never in scope for support agents.

What happens if there is a potential PHI breach?+

Remvix's incident response protocol notifies the client within 24 hours of any suspected breach, triggers investigation, and provides documentation for HIPAA breach notification assessment.

Are offshore team members required to sign NDAs?+

Yes — every team member signs confidentiality, IP assignment, and data handling agreements covering PHI and proprietary information.

Can Remvix support clinical documentation or medical transcription?+

Scribe and documentation support is in scope for some healthcare clients. We assess each engagement individually to ensure appropriate clinical oversight is maintained.

What's the cost of a HIPAA-trained patient support team?+

A dedicated 5-agent patient support team from India through Remvix runs approximately $95–120K annually all-in, vs $325–425K for equivalent US-based capacity.
